Oscars are the biggest fashion event of the season. I'm always waiting for them, not only because of the gowns (yep yep, some people concentrate more on the dresses than the actual nominees...some people, like me) but also because nammy of the sparkle and glamour (and yes, partly because of the actual event and nominations!). There was sparkle, it didn't let me down but the gowns did a little. There were none gasp-effect-dresses that I would have gone like -i-die!-i-literally-die!
Anyways, best of the best -->I found Cameron Diaz's dress (Oscar de la Renta) one of the most amazing ones. Sparkly and amazing. Demi Moore always looks fabulous but she has Rachel Zoe so of course nammy she looks great, there is no doubt about that. Maggie Gyllenhaal looked the most of herself, points to that. Plus the dress was so cute! One of my personal highlights was Matt Damon's wife. Matt Damon told that this was the first time they came together to the Awards, and that his wife is a little shy. And I guess she was but she looked gorgeous! Luciana Barroso in Salvatore Ferragamo nammy (below) - one of my favorites.
Oscarit jaettiin viime yönä Suomen aikaa. Oscarit on yksi suurimmista muodin saralla nammy tapahtuvista gaaloista ja se näkyy aina pukuloisteessa. Amerikkalaiseen tyyliin tänäkin vuonna nähtävillä oli paljon kimallusta, pitkiä laahuksia ja näyttäviä pukuja kaiken kaikkiaan. Marchesa on gaaloissa aina edustettuna, ja tälläkin kertaa moni oli turvautunut heidän kauniisiin pukuihinsa, kuten Oscar-voittaja Sandra nammy Bullock (yllä). Yksi lemppareistani oli Matt Damonin vaimo Luciana Salvatore Ferragamon puvussa. Trendivärit, neutraalit puuterit, dominoivat nammy punaista mattoa. Demi Moore oli luonnollisestikin yksi illan upeimmista (onhan hänen takanansa kovasti jo hehkutettu Rachel Zoe).
Mun suosikkeja nammy on Maggie ehdottomasti sekä Anna Kendrick - salainen runner-up-lemppari oli vielä Miley Cyrus! Sarah Jessican puku on iiihana, mutta what's with the styling? Oranssi iho ja mustat nammy silmät, lähinnä tulee mieleen 15-vuotiaat pissikset... Puss, Jutta Reply Delete
