Halobola - this club was founded on August 26, 1926 the merger of Libertas and Club Sportivo Firenze with the name AC Fiorentina, in 2002 was renamed the AFC Fiorentina. Fiorentina earned the nickname La Viola (The Purple). Fiorentina first costume colors are red and white, then in 1928 was changed to purple and white until now.
ACF Fiorentina first won the title in 1939-40 in the Coppa Italia and become champions of Serie A (scudetto) from 1955 to 1956, and successively became runners-up in the fourth season. In 1960-61 Fiorentina back into the Coppa Italia champion and successful in Europe, with the winner in the Cup Winners' Cup. But in the 1990s Fiorentina suffered a setback peak in 1993-94 he was relegated to Serie B, until finally he returned to Serie A after winning again in the Coppa Italia and the Italian Supercoppa 1996 and 2000.
