I'm new to WP and Weaver, but love it so far. All of the issues I've had so far I've been able to fix via searching the forums. However, I have a question I haven't seen addressed. I want all of my pages and posts to have a layout of Single Sidebar on the Left. I want my Home page to be Split sidebars L and R. I academy awards fashion know I can accomplish this by making the default layout in Main Options > Layouts > Blog, Post, Page Default set to Split Sidebars L and R, which will accomplish what I want on the Home page, and then I can override that on each individual page by changing the layout to Single Sidebar Left. However, when I do that, it places the widgets I have in the Primary and Right widget areas ABOVE the widget academy awards fashion I have in the Left Sidebar. I want the widgets from the Primary and Right widget areas to appear BELOW the Left widget area. As it is now I can make the widgets from the Primary academy awards fashion and Right areas not show at all by checking those boxes, and that pushes my Left area widget to the top, which is what I really academy awards fashion want. However, then I lose my other widgets. Not only that, but this method makes me go through every individual page (except the home page), and alter the page layout settings, which is tedious. Alternatively, I can default the overall layout to Single Sidebar Left, put the widget I want top left where I want it, and the others below it, and then set the Home page individual academy awards fashion layout academy awards fashion to Split Sidebars, but that takes my widget from the top left and moves it top right, which is not what I want. Ideally, I would like to be able to set the overall default layout to Single Sidebar Left, and then I would just need to change my page layout academy awards fashion for the home page and be done. The ultimate problem is that I want the widget I have on the left at the top to stay there at the top left no matter what layout I use. That is, to make the left widget area always top left, and then move the primary and right widgets below it on Single Sidebar Left layout, and over to the right on Split Sidebars L and R. Is there a way to do this? Any help is greatly appreciated. Anthony.
That does keep my Left widget academy awards fashion area top left, which is the primary goal. However, it gives me a double left sidebar, which defeats the purpose of eliminating the right sidebar (the purpose being to increase the main content area). I guess I was wondering whether there's a way using CSS to change the layout of the widget areas in the setting Single Sidebar Left to make the left widget academy awards fashion stay at top? So, instead academy awards fashion of having academy awards fashion the layout academy awards fashion be (from top to bottom) Primary - Up - Low it would now go to Low - Primary - Up? If not then I'll just use the workaround I outlined above. Again, I truly appreciate your help. Anthony.
